The KTL-P762, the Turkish Army’s next-generation infantry rifle, was designed by KUTAL entirely with domestic resources. This rifle is 470 g lighter than its previous model and uses 7.62 × 51 mm NATO-standard ammunition. It can fire 700 rounds per minute and, with a muzzle velocity of 800 m/s, achieve an effective range of up to 600 m.

The KTL-P762’s modular rail handguard allows the user to fit various accessories for different missions and conditions. Night-vision scopes, laser pointers, flashlights and other equipment can be mounted easily. This design lets the weapon adapt to diverse combat scenarios and be customized to the user’s needs.
